…anything that makes me smile

I am a self taught artist from Worcestershire.

After a very enjoyable, creative time, being a hair stylist and makeup artist, I went back to my love of painting.

I paint a variety of subjects: pets, wildlife, nature and seascapes, with diverse hues, patterns and light, mainly in oils or acrylics.

My process for choosing what to paint is simple: anything that makes me smile. It brings me so much joy, if my paintings make someone happy, uplifted, or if it is meaningful to them.

At school, I was lucky enough to have a piece exhibited, in the Mall gallery London. In lockdown, I painted over 200 pebbles and put them in various places around the village, for children to find..
