Cotswold landmarks, Jazz culture, cafe conversations, and holiday memories
I’m a full time Creative Artist, having left my job in finance to follow my dream! It’s been a tough few years, with several exhibitions cancelled due to Lock-down, but I’ve remained pro-active, optimistic and cheerfully positive knowing that better days will come!
My introduction to art started with an early education (aged 3) at Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School in Stourbridge. I moved to Gloucestershire as a young teenager bringing with me a love and enthusiasm for all things creative.
I have many diverse and varied interests, but all centre around art, music, literature and travel, involving visits to galleries, exhibitions, museums, theatres and festivals.
My paintings are inspired by Cotswold landmarks, Jazz culture, cafe conversations, and holiday memories from seagulls in St Ives to sunsets in South Africa.
Painting mainly in watercolour and ink, I also enjoy experimenting with colourful acrylics and developing vibrant New York cityscapes from visits to my daughter who works in Manhattan.
I am always seeking opportunities to exhibit my paintings (offering Affordable Art for All) and am delighted to showcase my current original artworks, together with signed prints, cards, and a selection of seasonal crafts.
I will be adding new artworks each week, so please keep checking regularly to choose a favourite, thank you!
